# graph plan step unset

> Clear one optional attribute of a step

Clears one optional attribute of a step. A step's `tool` and `input` are required and can't be cleared.

## Arguments

**NAME|PATH** `string` *required*

The plan's identifier or YAML file path

**ID** `string` *required*

The step's id

**ATTRIBUTE** `enum\<string\>` *required*

The attribute to clear

Available options: `tool`, `input`, `reasoning`

## Options

**--json** `boolean`

Print a JSON envelope instead of text

## Global options

**-v, --verbose** `integer`

Increase log verbosity (-v info, -vv debug, -vvv trace)
