# graph config migrate

> Rewrite a config file to the current config format, comments intact

Rewrites the config file to the current config file version, keeping comments and layout. A file already at the current version is left untouched.

## Options

**--global** `boolean`

Migrate the global file (\~/.config/graph/) instead of the project one (./.graph/)

**--json** `boolean`

Print a JSON envelope instead of text

## Global options

**-v, --verbose** `integer`

Increase log verbosity (-v info, -vv debug, -vvv trace)

graph config migrate [OPTIONS]
```

```bash Example 1 theme={null}
graph config migrate
```

```bash Example 2 theme={null}
graph config migrate --global
```
