# graph config init

> Write a starter config file

Writes a commented starter config to `./.graph/config.toml`, or to `~/.config/graph/config.toml` with `--global`. Refuses to overwrite an existing file unless `--force` is set.

## Options

**--global** `boolean`

Write to the global location (\~/.config/graph/) instead of the project (./.graph/)

**--force** `boolean`

Overwrite an existing file

## Global options

**-v, --verbose** `integer`

Increase log verbosity (-v info, -vv debug, -vvv trace)

```bash Usage theme={null}
graph config init [OPTIONS]
```

```bash Example 1 theme={null}
graph config init
```

```bash Example 2 theme={null}
graph config init --global
```
