# graph agent validate

> Validate every agent, or one agent file against the others

Problems exit 1. `--json` lists them under `problems`.

## Arguments

**PATH** `string`

One agent file to check against the others; omit to check every agent

## Options

**--json** `boolean`

Print a JSON envelope instead of text

## Global options

**-v, --verbose** `integer`

Increase log verbosity (-v info, -vv debug, -vvv trace)

graph agent validate [OPTIONS] [PATH]
```

```bash Example 1 theme={null}
graph agent validate
```

```bash Example 2 theme={null}
graph agent validate .graph/agents/release_notes.yaml
```
