# graph_plan_new

> Writes an empty plan file to fill in with the edit tools.

## Behavior

* The new plan has no steps, so `problems` lists that until you add one; `ok` is still true.
* Needs no model credentials.
* Mirrors `graph plan new`.

## Input

**description** `string`

What the plan does — this is the routing signal an agent selects on.

**identifier** `string` *required*

Tool-name-safe id, also the file name: \[a-zA-Z0-9\_-].

**name** `string`

Display name. Defaults to the identifier.
