# Built-in agents

> The agents that ship with graph.

Global agents run in `graph ask`, `graph chat` and plan steps. Workbench agents run only in `graph wb`. A file in `.graph/agents/` or `~/.config/graph/agents/` with the same name replaces a built-in agent.

| [`front_desk (workbench)`](/agents/reference/built-in/workbench/front_desk) | Greets you when the workbench opens and hands you to the plan, agent or tool drafter. |
| [`plan_drafter (workbench)`](/agents/reference/built-in/workbench/plan_drafter) | Drafts a new plan with you, or opens an existing plan you want to work on. |
| [`plan_loader (workbench)`](/agents/reference/built-in/workbench/plan_loader) | Finds an existing plan from a name or description and loads it into the workbench. |
| [`plan_editor (workbench)`](/agents/reference/built-in/workbench/plan_editor) | Edits, validates, runs and saves the plan open in the workbench, one change at a time. |
